Hearts and Paws
Together for Life

Option 1 - Stay and Train Program

Stay-and-Train is a training program that allows you to leave your dog(s)
with Hearts and Paws and get the training they need. Your dog will benefit from getting plenty of exercise in our play yards and spend time daily with a trainer.

Option 2 - Private Training Program

This is a flexible and effective way to train your dog(s). Lessons can be at our training center, the convenience of your home, or a combination of both. We can target specific problems such as frenzied greeting/house-training specific to your environment. We also teach basic manners (sit, down, come, walking on a leash, etc.) in a more concentrated format than a group class. For a customized program to meet your needs, Hearts and Paws has well-trained staff to attain your goals with your dog. Lessons are available daytime, evenings, and Saturdays.
Cost is determined by location and duration of lesson. Typically, a private lesson at Hearts and Paws training center is $125 per session, while a private lesson performed at home or a nearby location is $150 per session. An extra $25 per session is added for aggression cases. Discounted packages of three or more available.

Option 3 - Group Classes

Beginning Group Classes:
Our Puppy Start, Advanced Puppy Start and Basic Companion Classes are programs for you  to learn manners, obedience, and socialization techniques to practice daily  with your dog(s) at home. Training your dog(s) is a new experience for most of our students. For these classes we encourage family participation of all members 6 years and older. Our classes meet weekly in our indoor classroom. Classes are limited to 10 dogs with two instructors.
Advanced Group Classes:
Ready to take your canine(s) companion(s) to the next level? Would you like to increase your dog's obedience training through learning advanced skills and tricks? We have the right class for you!
Dog Agility Sport Group Classes:
Dog agility is a dog sport in which a handler directs a dog through an obstacle course in a race for both time and accuracy. Dogs generally run off-leash with no food or toys as incentives. The handler can touch neither dog nor obstacles. Consequently, the handler's controls are limited to voice, movement, and various body signals, requiring exceptional training of the animal.
